United States will give Moldova a grant of 4.2 million euros for building effective and accountable democratic governance in our country.

The money will be used for projects to improve public involvement in decision-making in our country, ensuring a more transparent and accountable judicial system, creating favorable conditions for public authorities to resolve citizens' problems.

The agreement also aims to maintain relations of cooperation between the government and the United States, contributing to strengthening civil society and democratic processes in Moldova, strengthen the efforts to reform the justice sector, combating corruption, enhancing the credibility of the electoral processes.

The bilateral agreement to be signed in Chisinau at the end of September and will be valid until June 30, 2021.
