Over 80 hectares of vegetation burned down in last 24 hours in Chisinau
In the last 24 hours, firefighters intervened to settle the fire of about 80 hectares of vegetation in Chisinau.
Wild fires were recorded in Orhei, Straseni, Falesti, Causeni, Ialoveni, Ungheni, Cantemir villages and Chisinau.
Firefighters were able to extinguish an area of over 25 hectares of vegetation in flames in Chisinau. 901 service have received calls and four interventon vehicles wnet to fight the fire. After burning no one was hurt. The fire was liquidated after three hours.
In total, 28 teams of firefighters had to extinguish vegetation fire throughout the country.
In most cases, fires are occurring from uncontrolled burning of garbage and dry vegetation, and winds spreas it quickly to large spaces.
