Moldovan women trafficked and sexually exploited in Turkey
Four women of 19,21 and 41-year-old, members of crminal group in human trafficking, have been detained by police.
The suspects were recruiting victims from socially-vulnerable districts of the country, from the age of 18 to 25-year-old, for sexual exploitation in Turkey.
Thus, the group members have been recruiting four young girls, through ads published on social networks, promising them jobs, as a dancer in a nightclub in Istanbul, Turkey, but after reaching the destination they were sexually exploited.
In September, the suspects continued their criminal activities in Chisinau, recruiting a group of young girls for the provision of sexual services for money.
Thus, women were detained while they were on the territory of the Chisinau International Airport and intended to cross the state border with a future victim.
During the arrest, evidence that prove their full complicity and guilt was obtained.
The suspects risk imprisonment from 5 to 12 years.
Currently, the suspects are being searched in custody, and the police investigation continues in order to establish all the circumstances and persons involved in the case.
