The students from Ivancea village (central Moldova) can spend their leisure time safer and with more usefulness. A multi-function center for children opened this year in the village, with money from European funds.
The educational center is mostly attended by children from poor families.
"33 kids come here after classes. They do their homework and learn foreign languages,” said Ivancea mayor Oleg Gaşper.
Democrat MP Valentina Buliga has also got to know the center: "Education is a priority for children. They should be instructed not only in classes.”
She also visited Selişte village of the same district of Orhei, where she talked with the locals about the electoral program of the Democrats’ presidential runner Marian Lupu.
