Interior Ministry launches website for protecting children and youth in internet

The Center for Combating Cyber Crime within the General Police Inspectorate has launched website www.internetsigur.md for protecting the rights of the youth and children in Internet, Infotag reports.
The website contains information in Russian and Romanian about the influence of Internet on child’s development for parents, tutors and educators. A separate rubric includes legislative acts, which provide punishment for pernicious influence on minors by means of internet.
The website says: “Risks in virtual space are very real!”. The police recommend to everyone who faced unlawful actions against children in internet to call on 022 577 153, 078 090 902 or report on the e-mail [email protected].
