Hospitable, industrious and friendly: this is the description Princess Mary of Denmark has given to the Moldovans, as she is on a three-day visit to this country.

She has been nicely impressed with the touristic attractions, especially the Cricova cellars.

Here the advice that she wants to deliver to the Moldovans in her capacity of a patron of the regional office of the World Health Association: ”We all can make our option for a healthy life style, this means we must have healthy habits. To eat correctly, to do sports and to reduce the consumption of tobacco and alcohol. By doing these we can prevent a lot of illnesses.”

Health Minister Ruxanda Glavan says the authorities do their best to promote a healthy living and increase birth rates: ”The in vitro fertilization has become accessible for every insured citizen. It’s also important to reduce the consumption of alcohol, not to smoke, to sexually educate the children to prevent the sexually transmissible diseases.”
