The Parliament will set up a working group to consider the problem of food quality in kindergartens. The decision has been announced today at the Legislature’s sitting.
The move is made to prevent cases of intoxication in education-related institutions.
The announcement was made by speaker Andrian Candu.
Hearings took place on the issue yesterday, as a Health deputy minister reported the number of cases of food intoxication grew 1/3 this year compared to 2015.
380 cases were recorded all in all, including 119 related to children.
17 people remain in custody being suspected of involvement in arranged auctions on selecting firms to provide food to kindergartens and schools.
