A Moldovan barrister has been held up by the anti-corruption squad being suspected of influence peddling.

The lawyer asked and got 3,000 euro to influence the prosecutor and the judge in case against the informant.

The goal was to finally get the indicted to be amnestied.

The suspected barrister from the eastern district of Stefan Voda has recognized her guilt and is now probed on parole.

She faces up to six years of jail and a fine equivalent to $10,000.
