The number drivers with fake tax discs has increased during holidays. The border guards have traced over 100 fake documents since the beginning of the year.  

The fine for the lack of tax disc is up to 2,600 lei for individuals and up to 6,000 lei for businesses, depending on the period for which the payment of road use tax.

Starting with January 1st, border guards verify that foreign drivers have tax discs.
