The police have found lots of smuggled goods in the household of a man from a village in the western district of Ungheni.

The police searched and found 258 bottles of beer, 31 packs of detergent, 6 sacks of dog food, 2 chicken incubators and 6 packs of diapers.

The police find the goods are smuggled from Romania and the man sells them in Moldova. They are assessed at about $2,000.

The 43-year-old man faces a fine of $150, as the goods will be confiscated.
