Dozens of schools and kindergartens, and other public institutions will be equipped with biomass heating and solar panels under the project "Energy and Biomass".
Facilities from the solar energy and biomass will be provided to 61 educational institutions.
The Economy Minister Octavian Calmac said that this confirms that implementation of investment projects in our country is a reality that must be supported and developed.
The Energy and Biomass Project has been launched in 2011 with the help of the European Union. To this day, biomass heating systems were provided to over 190 schools, kindergartens, community centers and hospitals.
Also, 1,000 families heat their homes with green energy thanks to European subsidies of up to 1,300 euros each.
