New talks between Government and National Confederation of Trade Unions on salary system improvement
The Government's commission for negotiations and representatives of the National Trade Union Confederation continue discussing the improvement of the payroll system. They will meet today, January 20th, in a meeting.
Government officials say that authorities have initiated several actions on the modernization of the education system and increase the income of employees in the sector. The reforms have been planned in advance and the necessary financial resources have been provided in the State Budget.
On January 18th, ministers have approved the increase of 50 percent of single indemnities for young teachers who will work in villages.
Thus, university graduates will rise an allowance of 45,000 lei.
Also, Prime Minister Pavel Filip has signed the order on the creation of the Working Group on reform of the salary system in the public sector, in order for them to come up with proposals for change to the salary of all employees in the public sector, including the education.
