A Moldovan is being investigated for illegally crossing the Moldovan-Ukrainian border. The man was caught while trying to illegally pass the border with Ukraine. The case was registered on January 22nd, 2017 in Saiti region of the Border Police Sector.

The 43-year-old Moldovan citizen, resident of Ciuflesti village, Causeni district has justified his intention with the fact that he risked deportation to his name because the period of stay in Ukraine has exceeded. 

Man risks a fine of up to 400 conventional units or unpaid community work 150 to 200 hours, or imprisonment up to 2 years.
