The Moldovan authorities have given up the Soviet standards in building houses and will apply new, European standards.
The Constructions Ministry is drafting a bill in this respect, as the Czechian Government donates EUR200,000. It hopes the new standards will make the new houses cheaper.
Also the architects will be freer to create new projects, as the safety of the buildings will enhance.
Also the universities will operate the due modifications in their curricula.
The new building standards are deemed to be applied starting from 2020.
