The Ministry of Economy of the United Arab Emirates will lead a trade delegation to the UAE-Moldovan Business Forum taking place from 8-9 February 2017, in the Moldovan capital of Chisinau, headed by HE Sultan bin Saeed Al Mansoori, Minister of Economy.

The forum will allow delegates to discuss the future of bilateral economic and trade relations and review prominent areas for stimulating economic and trade cooperation.
Al Mansoori said that the forum forms part of ongoing efforts to establish more active economic and trade relations with the public and private sectors by sharing and discussing opportunities and challenges.

The exchange of information and holding dialogues on key sectors targeted for development as well as opportunities for establishing partnerships serve the respective development goals of both parties.

The Minister emphasised the desire to explore investment opportunities available in the Moldovan markets, specifically in the areas of agriculture and food, energy, and tourism, arising from Moldova’s rich natural resources, fertile agricultural environment, and skilled workforce–all priority economic sectors within the UAE’s development vision that will pave the way for more Emirati investments in Moldova.
