Objectives of Ministry of Economy in coming years
The Ministry of Economy intends in the coming years to increase the share of exports in the European Union up to 85 percent. This happens due to the implementation of free trade agreement with the EU.
In the first two years of the implementation of the document, the share products and goods delivered to European countries increased up to 65 percent.
The objective was announced by Minister of Economy Octavian Calmac, during a Moldovan-Austrian business forum. In recent years the European Union has become the main trading partner of our country.
According to the National Bureau of Statistics, from January to November last year the European market deliveries were approximately $1.2 billion.
Our country has increased exports of food products and beverages.
