Firefighters in ALERT! Tens of hectares of vegetation burned across the country

Over the past 24 hours the firemen have intervened in the liquidation of 37 outbreaks of fire. Large areas of grass and rubbish have burned in several parts of the country.
The largest outbreaks have been recorded in the outskirts of Telenesti district, where 47 hectares of dry vegetation has burned.
Also, 18 hectares of grass near Straseni has been affected by fire.
According to preliminary information, the firemen have intervened to extinguish vegetation in Ialoveni, Ungheni, Criuleni, Orhei, Taraclia, Causeni and Cantemir.
Civil Protection and Exceptional Situations warns people not to ignite vegetation and household waste because outbreaks can spread easily in forest areas, or houses around.
