Over 2,900 crosses were removed from the national highways from November 2016 until March this year. They represent 83% of the total number of crosses and other funerary objects located near roads.

Citizens who failed removal of crosses or other funeral monuments may require the help of specialized enterprises road maintenance.

According to the State Road Administration, over 3,500 crosses and other funeral objects have been identified near rods.
