An employee of IP Soroca, suspected of passive corruption was detained by the SPITA officers in common with the anticorruption prosecutors. He might have requested 600 de euro for the hiding and non-examination of a material registrated in REI-2 of IP Soroca.

The claimed sum of 600 euro, received from the petitioner, was found in the policeman’s office.

The policeman was detained for 72 hours. 

The policeman risks prison from 3 to 7 years if found guilty, fine in sum of 4.000 to 6.000 conventional units or the deprivation of the right to hold public positions or to exercise a certain activity on a term from 5 till 10 years.
