The Police undertakes all the measures to insure public order in the Capital on the holy Easter holidays.

Livii Baziuc, chief INP declared that around 3000 policemen will be at duty on Easter Holidays.

There was effectuated an interaction and a cooperation between all the abilited bodies at the compartment of public order and security insurance including the route circulation security. All the police services will be on duty during the holidays. There was effectuated the systematizing and the generalization of the information regarding the strengthening of the churches and of sanctuaries. 1.370 churches and other sanctuaries where the divine services will be unfolded are result of these generalizations. There were forwarded several appeals regarding the strengthening of security with the aim of removing the gaps. There will be distributed police contingents that will effectuate the service at all these sanctuaries. There was effectuated a calculation regarding the involved forces in common agreement with the police inspectorates. All the municipal forces in the maintenance of public order will be active at Jesus Christ’s Birth Cathedral, where the holy fire will be brought. There were taken into account 1340 cemeteries during the holidays, where there will be distributed the police contingent to insure and maintain the public order, declared the chief of INP.

Livii Baziuc added also that the Police recommends the citizens to call in situation of emergency 902 or to trustfully address the closest sector or police office, everytime there are noticed tensioned situations, suspect persons or objects, that can affect public order.

The firefighters and the saviors take measures to prevent eventual fires in churches. Sergiu Chircu the chief of section within SPCSE, mentioned that in condition of training are over one hundred interventions trucks and a contingent of over 300 persons.
