A 45-year-old farmer from the central district of Orhei has been detained for 72 h under suspicion of human trafficking.

According to prosecutors, the man allegedly exploited several people, including minors, making them work on his farm without remuneration.

The victims lived on the farm in inhumane conditions.

Now he risks imprisonment from 7 to 15 years.
