Two Moldovan truck drivers have been ordered to stay in house arrest after attempting to smuggle 441,000 cigarettes to Romania.
They were employed to carry food from Ukraine to Romania, but they also used a scam to smuggle cigarettes.
The cigarettes were detected by a dog of the customs officers from the southern checkpoint of Giurgiulești.
