Issues from the Chişinău authorities’ agenda viewing the reformation of the country were discussed by the vice president of the Parliament, Iurie Leanca, in Brussels.

On his trip there, the official has met with a range of MEPs, with the rapporteur for macro-financial assistance for Moldova, Sorin Moisă, and with Petras Austrevicius, the rapporteur for the Association Agreement.

Iurie Leancă has also conferred with Neighborhood Commissioner Johannes Hahn.

The role of the European Union in helping Moldova to develop was broached at the meetings.
