Premier Pavel Filip has talked in Brussels today about stepping up Moldova’s trade with the European Union, and about the prospect of increasing export quotas for some strategic Moldovan produce as grapes.
Filip has met with several commissioners. Trade commissioner Cecilia Malmstrom has appreciated the increase of the Moldovan exports to the EU market and encouraged the Moldovan authorities to continue the reforms so that Moldova fully enjoys the free trade opportunities.
The Prime Minister has stated the authorities had managed to expand those benefits to the companies from the Transnistrian area.
The third reunion of the Moldova-EU association council takes place today in Brussels.
