The mayor of Băcioi commune and five employees are investigated for abusing their authority position. According to anti-corruption prosecutors, the officials favored two economic agents who participated in the auctions for the local kindergarten reconstruction.

The value of two contracts exceeded up to 17 million lei.

If they commit the offence, they face the risk of up to 10 years imprisonment and are deprived of occupying certain positions for up to 15 years.
