The administrator of a driving school in Comrat was detained by CNA officers and anticorruption prosecutors, suspected of influence peddling.

He claimed to receive 650 EUR and promised to influence Examination Board of the Department of Transportation and Driver's Qualification in Comrat in order to help people get positive result. 

The manager could have coordinated with other people who are unidentified at the moment.

The man was detained in the village of Congaz, Comrat district. The money was found in the suspect's service car.

Besides, another money of about 1300 EUR was also found.

The manager was detained for 72 hours.

If the suspect commits blame, he may face an imprisonment of up to 6 years or a fine of up to 200 thousand lei.
