A 23-year-old man was hospitalized, being slightly injured and other two suffer trauma after their minibus Cobusca - Chisinau had been hit by a truck.

The accident occurred this morning near the village of Ţânţăreni in Anenii Noi. There were three passengers in that minibus. 

The young man hospitalized is not in severe condition and will be further checked, stated by the traumatologist.

According to the locals, they heard loud sound in the morning at around 6 a.m.

The manager of the minibus believed that the truck driver whose car had registration numbers in Ukraine, fell asleep at the wheel.

"The driver of this big truck fell asleep. Luckily, we were only four people," he said

According to the police, the truck did not respect the distance and hit the minibus on the line Cobusca - Chisinau.

Both drivers were tested if they had drunk alcohol.
