A 30-year-old man died after being hit by a train heading for Ungheni.

The tragedy occurred last night on the railroad near the Albişoara street in the capital.

The locomotive engineer claims the man could have committed suicide because he threw himself in front of the train.

Experts will determine whether the victim consumed alcoholic beverages and the police are investigating all the circumstances of the case.
