Georgian ex-convict to be exiled from Moldova (Video)
According to the police, on 18th of August a 41 year old ex- convict of Georgian origin has entered the territory of the Republic of Moldova.
He was stopped from going any further by the security from the International Airport of Chisinau. Afterwards he was taken to the National Investigation Agency, where they tried to determine his aim of arrival into the Republic of Moldova, the persons with whom he had contact, as well as other information regarding the criminal world.
Thus it was established that he was supposed to be met at the airport by two citizens from Transnistria. At the same time, it was confirmed that the Georgian has already been convicted multiple times in different countries for break in’s and theft.
Earlier he was deprived of his freedom for a year for theft committed in Spain. In July of this year the man was deported to Georgia, having been exiled from both Azerbaijan and Kiev. Finally he arrive in Moldova with the intention of settling in.
The ex-convict claims that he doesn’t know the two people from Transnistria who were supposed to meet him at the airport. That they only talked through a third party from Ukraine.
Subsequently the man was exiled from the Republic of Moldova in order to prevent any criminal activity.
Based on his confession and the phone numbers which were extracted from him, the police seeks to establish the identity of the citizens from both the Republic of Moldova and Transnistria who were in contact with him in order to find ties with the criminal world from the Republic of Moldova.
