Employee from the Ministry of Education and her 3 accomplices, who were taken into custody for accepting bribery and influence peddling, will stand trial today.

The investigators are requesting the suspects to be held in provisional detention.

She and 3 employees from translation offices were receiving money for perfecting and legalizing graduate diplomas both in Moldova, as well as abroad.

According to the attorneys, the suspects were paid between 50 and 1500 euro for their services.

If found guilty they risk up to 10 years in jail.
