According to the first information provided by the local police, two people, one man and one woman, were seriously injured.

The Ukrainian press reports that an unidentified object exploded, which was detonated on a street near the Government and an area where several festivities were organized.

There were several ambulances on site. Police investigate the case and look for the guilty.

An explosion was set off in the center of Kiev, next to the government building on Independence Day of Ukraine. 

A man and a woman were injured.

An unknown element exploded.
