Border police officers at the Sculeni Border Crossing Point - I.T.P.F. Iasi discovered a Romanian identity card and a fake Romanian driving license owned by a Moldovan citizen. 

The 21-year-old man, named Vadim D. was travelling to France, boarding in a minibus.

Noticing his suspicious behavior, border police asked customs officers to carry out a thorough check after which counterfeit documents were detected, comprising ID card and driving license, both with the insignia of the Romanian authorities.

The man said he had bought the documents from a citizen whose identity he did not know, paying 200 euros.
