A Moldovan mercenary was identified and detained by prosecutors and Security and Intelligence Service (SIS) officers.

According to prosecutors, the 45-year-old man, Chisinau resident, is suspected of having incorporated as mercenary in military formation Первая Славянская бригада in Donetsk of Ukraine between June 2015 - March 2017. 

He assured mercenaries who participated in the military conflict in the Donetsk region with various food products.

If found guilty, the man is at risk from 5 to 10 years in prison.
