The Cabinet of Ministers have approved, at today's meeting, to begin negotiations and to sign the Agreement between Republic of Moldova and Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation, regarding the second phrase of "constitutional consolidation of Republic of Moldova for development and migration".

The main aim of the agreement is to increase the positive impact of migration, regarding social-economical development for Republic of Moldova, by consolidating institutions dealing with diaspora, migration, as well as national and regional development.

At the same time, the Agreement contains an action plan that would help improve policy coordination mechanism of the state regarding diaspora, migration and development, increase the citizens potential and attract financial support from diaspora for Republic of Moldova.

For the implementation of this project, according to the Agreement, the Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation will offer Moldova, in tranches, at most 4 019 295 lei.
