Subject of Romanian-language teaching schools in Ukraine, discussed by Filip and Groisman: Law not against anyone
The subject of Romanian-language teaching schools in Ukraine was discussed today in Chisinau during a meeting between Prime Minister Pavel Filip and his Ukrainian counterpart, Volodimir Groisman. Officials agree that on October 20, Minister of Education, Culture and Research, Monica Babuc, will pay a visit to Kiev, where she will analyze the issue in detail.
"We have concerns that all Moldovans and Romanians can do their studies in Ukraine in their mother tongue, that is, in Romanian. Problems are not solved through the advancement of the ultimate, the problems are solved in discussions, in calm talks and rational discussions" , said Pavel Filip.
"This new law on education is not directed against anyone. We are a multiethnic state, we respect every national minority living in Ukraine and consider it their homeland, and we must mention that Ukraine now needs special attention in developing the terms of official state, "said Volodimir Groisman.
In the morning, the head of the Kiev government was welcomed by his counterpart, Pavel Filip at the airport.
The high guest also participated in the economic forum Moldova Business Week, where the participants made the balance of trade relations between Moldova and Ukraine.
"There are over 200 bilateral agreements in the Republic of Moldova and Ukraine, which concern free trade, investment stimulation and protection, economic and financial cooperation," said Alexandru baltag, AOAM director.
The volume of trade between Ukraine and Moldova increased by more than 30% compared with the same period of the last year, and 1,128 enterprises with Ukrainian capital operate in Moldova. Investments increased over 281 million euros.

The two prime ministers signed a roadmap for cooperation between Moldova and Ukraine for 2018 and also held a press conference.
