Legislature to adopt calendar of parliamentary hearings in 2017 autumn session
The legislature will adopt a calendar of parliamentary hearings planned for the autumn 2017 session. MEPs will assess the impact of the legislative package adopted by Parliament and the results of ongoing reforms.
The announcement was made at the meeting of Andrian Candu, Parliament Speaker, with Council of Europe's Commissioner for Human Rights, Nils Muižnieks on his visit to Moldova.
Besides, the public hearings on the new regulation regarding publicizing information of Court which was approved yesterday by the Superior Council of Magistracy.
According to Parliament President Andrian Candu, the document will be sent to the Venice Commission if it needs to be improved.
Speaker Andrian Candu mentioned that governance priorities are aimed not only at economic and social reforms, but also human rights respects.
Council of Europe's Commissioner for Human Rights, Nils Muižnieks, in turn, encouraged continued efforts to respect human rights in the Republic of Moldova.
