Lack of policemen in Moldova
Police crisis in Moldova. According to the National Agency of Human Resources, the Minister of Intern Affairs needs almost 500 employees. The most, they need the employees in Cahul, Cimislia, Basarabeasca and Chisinau.
At the Central Police Inspectorate, only the Public Security Section needs up to 20 employees.
The employees say it is hard to face the work volume when there is a lack of employees.
''We face all the work very hard. We should work more than eight hours a day'', said Vicol Sergiu, the main police officer.
''There is just a few of us, but we can face all the work. It is hard to do, but we can face is'', Lucian Garea, the main sector police officer.
Recently, there was organized a competition to fill all the available positions.
''At the last competition, participated ten candidates. We have chosen just eight of them. The other two didn't satisfy the conditions'', said Dinu Savciuc the Chief of the Central Public Security.
The MAI spokesmen say they try to convince the young to become policemen.
''We have good working conditions, good salaries. We are waiting for all who want to be in the security of Moldova'', said Gheorghe Cavcaliuc, the deputy director of IGP.
At the Stefan cel Mare Academy, they prepare specialists in the domain. This year, there were accepted 145 students from 350. The young have big plans according to the profession they have chosen.
''We are aware of the thing that we can progress in this area.''
''In the future, I would like to work within the Criminalistic and Legal Expertise Center, because there are many opportunities center.''
The graduates of the institution are obliged to work in this are at least a few time.
''According to contract that they sing, the students should practice at least five years'', said Boris Glavan, the dean of the Stefan cel Mare Academy.
''In the past two years, the available positions increase. The 20-40 year old man leave the country', said Stefan Calancea, the deputy director of ANOFM.
The last year, only 30% of the available positions were covered. At the present moment, Moldovans have almost 12 thousand available positions.
