Tens of people gathered today at ''Sfinta Treime'' church from Gratiesti village, to worship to the Icon that was brought in the village. The icon is over 130 year old and was brought from Ukraine. People believe that the icon treats illnesses and helps the women who can't have children.

''I worship for all my nephews, because they are all abroad.''

''They have brought it from Ananev, Odessa, Ukraine. I was born there. We were preaying to this icon. As far as I know it is a special icon that makes wonders. We were praying to it when my husband ans son were ill. I will come more often to pray.

The pastors say people can come everyday to the church to pray, till December 5.

''Icon's name is ''Grabnic Acultatoare, Grabnic ajutatoare''. There was a case in Romania with a boy who was in comatose and his parents prayed to this icon and the boy has rehabilitated, said Victor Plesca, the pastor of the church from Gratiesti.

The Christians celebrate today the Saturday of the dead, they go to the cemitery and church to comemorate the dead.
