Premier Filip: We reached staff level agreement, we shall be on board in December
Prime Minister Pavel Filip thanked the IMF program, but also all the government members involved in the project during today meeting.
"Today we have completed our visit to the IMF mission, we have reached a personal agreement, what we call staff level agreement, that will mean we will go to the board in December, and the IMF program continues, and the next installment will be 22 million dollars, "said Pavel Filip.
The official also added that all achievements result from hard works.
"All results are achieved thanks to IMF team who worked here in Chisinau by October 25 for their revaluation. Moreover, I want to send gratitude to our colleagues from the government, those from the National Bank who have had simple discussions, those who participated in negotiations with the IMF.
"I would like to say thank you very much. These moments really matter to me. In our relations with development partners, especially IMF, we see the programs we continue with funds are more important than the money receipt. Because it is a certificate of trust for Moldova, and that is the important chain for our foreign relations . "
Publika.md recalls that the Republic of Moldova could receive the second installment from the International Monetary Fund of over 20 million dollars by the end of the year.
