The Defence Minister, Eugen Sturza and the Romanian Ambassador to Republic of Moldova, Daniel Ionita had a meeting. The officials discussed about the cooperation in he defence sphere and the perspectives of the Moldo-Romanian dialogue in military sphere within the international organizations.

Eugen Sturza informed the ambassador Ionita about his priorities as a Minister. He said he will modernize the army, will approve strategic documents, purchase new equipment for the army, train the soldiers and make better the social conditions of the soldiers.

The Minister Sturza thanked the Romanian ambassador for the National Romanian Army's support and for the military preparations within the specialized institutions from Romania.

At the same time, Eugen Sturza appreciated the implication of the Romanian Government in the NATO's project of the pesticides, a project that is a benefit for all the citizens of Republic of Moldova.

At his turn, Daniel Ionita congratulated Eugen Sturza for the function he received and wished him success to realize all his targets.

The ambassador Ionita mentioned that Romania will continue to support the army of Moldova in its modernization projects.
