Klaus Iohannis held moment of silence for late King Michael I during meeting with EU ambassadors

President Klaus Iohannis has expressed his condolence toward the passing of King Michael I.
"King Michael has passed away. May God bless his soul. He was one of Romania's biggest personality and left a deep mark in its history. It is a great loss for Romania, for all Romanians, I bring my deepest condolence toward the Royal Family" Romania's President said.
"Romania will organize all ceremonies, as it should be and will have a National Day of Mourning" Klaus Iohannis declared on Tuesday, at the end of the meeting with EU ambassadors to Bucharest.
President of Romania has also held a moment of silence to remember the late King Michael I, during his meeting with EU ambassadors.
King Michael I passed away today, 5th December, at the age of 96. The Monarch spend his last moments in his residence from Switzerland.
