NATO's liaison office in Chisinau will be inaugurated today. Deputy Secretary General of the North Atlantic Alliance, Rose Gottemoeller will attend the event.
The diplomat will hold a press conference with Prime Minister Pavel Filip. The liaison office will facilitate the participation of Moldova in all NATO cooperation activities and will contribute to the realization of important projects for our country.
The agreement on the opening of the institution in Chisinau was signed earlier in the NATO headquarters in Brussels by Prime Minister Pavel Filip and Alliance Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg.
Our country has been working with the international organization since 1991, when Moldova became a member of the North Atlantic Cooperation Council.
