Liviu Volconovici has been proposed to new Minister of Ministry of Agriculture, Regional Development and Environment. 

Liviu Volconovici has served as rector of the State Agrarian University of Moldova since June this year and was the interim rector of the institution since January. 

He is a doctor and a professor at the Department of Electrification and Automation of the Rural Environment of UASM.

He was also the head of the scientific research laboratory Ecologia Prima.
