The It Park meant for information technology companies will be opened on 1st January 2018. The decision was taken today by the Cabinet of Ministers.

At first, the IT Park will be solely virtual, while afterward the field itself will be built. The institution is founded for 10 years and it aims to attract 400 IT companies. 

The main target of the new structure is the development of the IT industry, create new jobs and attract local and foreign investments.

The director of the park, for the next 5 years, was named Serghei Voitovschii, who was previously employed in former Ministry of Information Technologies.
