Czech Republic will offer grants worth over 550 000 euro for small enterprises from Moldova's North
Small businesses from the North of Moldova will be able to receive grants. An agency from Czech Republic for Development will offer for this over 550 thousand euro. They will prioritize those working in agriculture.
Nicolae Midrigan from Chișcăreni village, Sângerei, hopes to gain financing for his farm, where 350 rabbits grow. He begun this business four years ago, with only 10 animals. The farmer wishes to use the money to create an abattoir.
"I hope that next year I will have enough money to create an abattoir. For a small one, I believe at least 10 thousand euro will be required" Nicolae Midrigan declared.
Within the project "People in Need Moldova" of an Development Agency from Czech Republic, entrepreneurs will be trained how to manage a business efficiently.
"15 grants of 5 thousand euro will be offered for the development of SMEs. Along with the Regional Development Agency, two other people will be employed to offer necessary support to SMEs, consultancy in accounting, taxation, legal matters, which will help them to develop" State Secretary of the Ministry of Development, Dorin Andros declared.
"This project will be implemented by 2019. We intend to help small enterprises from the region to gain more income and create more competitive work places" representative of "People in Need Moldova" program, Mario Straca stated.
Along this project, National Regional Development Fund offers other project, among which counts aqueduct construction, road repair and waste management.
"From the National Regional Development Fund were approved for implementation 13 projects, worth 69.5 million lei. At the moment we have estimated the price of 92% of the projects and believe that by 15th December we will have analyzed all of them" interim Director of the Regional Development Agency from North, Constantin Bîndiu said.
For the past 5 years, developments partners of Moldova have offered through Regional Development Agency from North close to 2 million euro. Most money were offered by the Government of Czech Republic.
