A 30-year-old bicyclist passed away after he was hit from behind by a truck on the Chișinău-Bălți road, near Mălăiești, Orhei district. Both were using the same lane.

According to the police, the truck driver has not noticed the bicyclist because he was not equipped properly.

A criminal file was opened on this case, while investigators will establish all circumstances under which the accident took place.
