A Moldovan tried to smuggle 18,000 cigarettes to Romania but was caught in time by the Romanian border police. 

Accordingly, the smuggler aged 37 was driving a car registered in Romania and was stopped at the Rădăuţi Prut - I.T.PF Frontier Crossing Point

Thus, 18,800 cigarettes, different brands, with Moldova excise stamp, were discovered, hidden and undeclared in various parts of the car.

The fine issued for this Moldovan is being considered.
