An 83-year-old woman died after being engulfed in flames. The incident occurred in early morning, after 4:00, in Cetireni village, Ungheni district. 

The victim lived alone. Probably the fire was caused from the fireplace and burnt almost a hundred square meters. 

All circumstances and the cause of the fire are being investigated. 

Since the beginning of the year, eight fires have been recorded due to the incorrect operation of the fireplace.
