Prime Minister Pavel Filip wrote today a condolence message to people of Russia and Russian Prime Minister, Dmitry Medvedev, following the tragic plane crash.

"The Government and citizens of Republic of Moldova mourn along with people from Russia in those hard times. Allow me to express my sincere sympathy for the friends and families of the victims" wrote the message.

A plane crashed on Sunday, soon after takeoff from Domodedovo airport. None of the 71 people on board survived.
