World Bank will offer Republic of Moldova 10 million USD to reform the education system. The money will be used to improve the quality and efficiency of primary and secondary education.

According to World Bank Country Manager for Moldova, Anna Akhalkatsi, one of the biggest concerns is the difference between the requirements for employment and the training in schools. Therefore, for people to be able to find a job, they must meet all the employer's demands.

An essential part of the World Bank partnership with Moldova is developing knowledge and abilities, according to the financial institution. The reform project foresees our country's priority to reduce poverty and start prospering.

Since Republic of Moldova begun collaborating with World Bank in 1992, our country received over one billion UDS for dozens of projects.
